Sunday, June 8th, 1986: Durham Sidelined, Listed DTD by San Francisco
San Francisco's star first baseman Leon Durham injured himself in a game against the Philadelphia Phillies, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a damaged meniscus and the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Durham with a smile as he talked to SION reporters.

Durham is presently hitting at a .256 pace with 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and has scored 36 times.
