Major League Baseball News Article | |  | Wednesday, July 16th, 1986: Philadelphia Deals to Pittsburgh for Hausman The Philadelphia Phillies have parted ways with $1 in cash, sending him to the Pittsburgh Pirates for 33-year old starting pitcher Tom Hausman and $1 in cash. The Phillies general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning.
Hausman has gone 8-4 this season with an ERA of 3.46 and 67 strikeouts in 137.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .256 against him. | |
