Saturday, September 16th, 1995: Dressendorfer Dominates Orioles in Shutout
26-year-old Yankees pitcher Kirk Dressendorfer had a strong outing against the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium II, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 6 in the 8-0 win and walked 1 while surrendering 3 hits.

In 1995, Dressendorfer has chalked up 16 wins and 9 losses in 32 starts with 123 strikeouts in 214.2 innings and a 3.40 ERA.
Wednesday, September 6th, 1995: Star SP Signs Pact with Orioles
Happy times in Baltimore as the Orioles and star starting pitcher Kevin Tapani put the finishing touches on a $23,640,000 contract extension that will keep the 31-year-old in town 3 years longer.

The signing is great news for Baltimore because players of this caliber are hard to come by.

This season Tapani has compiled a 17-7 record with a 3.66 ERA.
Tuesday, August 29th, 1995: Kendall Goes 5-6
Jason Kendall was on fire today and sparked his club to a 17-13 victory over the Indians. The Baltimore catcher was a tough out and went 5 for 6 against Cleveland in a fine hitting display.

"I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in."

J. Kendall singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

Kendall is presently batting .372 with 1 home run, 28 runs scored and 40 RBIs. His OBP is .413.
