Huntington Beach first baseman Jay Gainer really lit up the Scottsdale Llamas with a 5-hit barrage today at Ballpark of Huntington Beach -- a performance that sparked the Golden Hawks to a 9-2 triumph.
He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."
J. Gainer singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 8th.
