Wednesday, September 13th, 1995: Milwaukee-Oakland Fight Results in Suspensions
The league office has suspended Jim Thome of the Brewers and Archie Corbin of the Athletics 5 games for their part in the scuffle between the two teams yesterday at Milwaukee County Stadium.

In 145 games Thome is hitting .304 this season for the Brewers with 166 hits, 35 home runs, 118 RBIs, 94 walks, .403 OBP and has scored 99 runs.

This year Corbin is 6-and-2 with no saves and a 3.84 ERA. He has given up 50 hits in 75 innings with 59 strikeouts.
Monday, September 11th, 1995: American League's Best Batter Announced
Greg Colbrunn went on a week-long hitting streak against American League pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors.

The Milwaukee first baseman battered the opposition for 12 hits, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. He hit .500 and posted a .520 on-base percentage.

This season Colbrunn is batting at a .344 clip with 12 home runs and 80 RBIs.
Wednesday, September 6th, 1995: Colbrunn Rips Cleveland for 5 Hits
"Believe it or not," said Milwaukee first baseman Greg Colbrunn, "they threw me some good pitches today."

That would be hard to believe for anyone who saw him dispose of the Indians with a great 5-hit performance.

"He made it look easy," said the Cleveland manager, who saw his team fall to the Milwaukee Brewers, 11-4. "Hats off to him!"

G. Colbrunn singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and doubled in the 7th.

This season Colbrunn has hit 12 home runs and posted a .344 batting average.
