Bruce Ruffin kept Montreal hitters off balance all game long as the Florida pitcher blanked the Expos 5-0. They managed to get 4 hits off Ruffin, who struck out 6 and walked 2.

 | Wednesday, September 6th, 1995: Montreal's Sax Will Miss Season
The season is finished for Steve Sax of the Montreal Expos. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Expos second baseman suffered a fractured ulna while colliding with a player at a base in a recent game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Team doctors said it would take at least 2 months to heal.
This year Sax has 8 home runs and a .301 batting average.

Sometimes even Pascual Perez of Montreal isn't sure which pitcher will show up when he takes the mound.
"I've been good sometimes and bad sometimes," he said. This time he looked good and made the Philadelphia Phillies look bad, blanking them by the score of 4-0.
Perez tossed a 6-hit shutout against them, totaling 2 strikeouts and giving up 1 walk.
This season Perez has worked 210.2 innings with 98 strikeouts en route to a 14-12 record and a 4.23 ERA.
