Friday, August 4th, 1995: Butler Belts Bunch of Base Hits
Madison left fielder Rob Butler put on quite a show at Aggressors Stadium with a big 5-hit day in the 4-3 victory over the Plano Armageddon.

In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate... 5-6... wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average... and my salary, too."

R. Butler hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit a solo-shot off R. Scheid in the 13th.

So far this season Butler is hitting .299 with 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 76 hits in 254 at-bats and a .389 OBP.
Monday, July 17th, 1995: Buechele Cracks 5 Hits
All game long Hialeah's Steve Buechele was rattling the walls at Ballpark of Hialeah and banging out base hits against the Madison Aggressors and when the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a career day, a 5-hit day, but no victory. The Aggressors defeated the Schooners 11-10 to take a little of the glitter of the occasion away.

Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 33-year-old third baseman lamented, "To get 5 hits and win a ballgame, that would have been a very special day. But we didn't win today. It's not easy to be happy when you lose. Only losers do that."

In all, Buechele collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats and a spot in the record book.

S. Buechele hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off J. Rogers in the 8th.

In 1995 Buechele is currently batting .273 with 7 home runs and 54 RBIs. In 97 games he has reached base at a .411 rate and scored 40 runs to date.
Monday, July 17th, 1995: Buechele Hits for the Cycle
Hialeah's Steve Buechele hit for the cycle today, but his club still went home with their heads hung low. The Schooners were upended by the Madison Aggressors 11-10.
"It was a good game for me," Buechele said. "I wish it could have been a good game for all of us."

The Schooners third baseman sparked the offense with a truly special performance, hitting a single, double, triple and home run to add his name to the record books. Still, it wasn't enough to stop Madison. Buechele went 5-for-5 for the game with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI.

S. Buechele hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off J. Rogers in the 8th.

Looking at his season stats, Buechele has compiled a .273 batting average and a .411 on-base percentage, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 54 runs.
