Tuesday, June 14th, 1988: Garland Halts Robertson's Hitting Steak
Lakers shortstop Andre Robertson was one of the hottest hitters in baseball, coming into today's game against Garland with a 20-game hitting streak. However, the Express put a chill in his bat, at least for today, and held him hitless in 3 at-bats during the Garland 1-0 triumph at Lakers Ballpark.

In 66 games this season Robertson has batted at a .257 pace with 67 hits and 1 home run.

Andre Robertson continues to hit at a blistering pace. For 20 straight games he has had at least one hit. Robertson did it again today with 1 hit in the San Bernardino triumph over Garland. The Lakers defeated the Express 7-3 at Lakers Ballpark.
