Doug Mirabelli is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the San Bernardino catcher joined that select company when the Sub League 2 announced the results of June's voting.
Mirabelli totaled 34 hits, 18 walks, 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and 16 runs scored last month to put together a .391 batting average and .495 on-base percentage.
This season Mirabelli is batting .322 with 50 RBIs, 57 runs scored and 14 home runs.
