| Breaking News | | Friday, April 14th, 1995: Career-Ending Injury for Wasinger News travels fast -- especially bad news. Just ask Detroit fans. They learned soon after yesterday's Tigers-White Sox game that their beloved ballclub had lost the services of Mark Wasinger for the rest of the year. The 33-year-old third baseman sustained a torn back muscle running the bases. The severity of Wasinger's injury will probably bring his career to a premature end.
This year Wasinger has 2 home runs and a .250 batting average. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 8-6, .571 PCT | | Position in Division | 4th, 1.0 GB | | Record at home | 6-2, .750 PCT | | Record on the road | 2-4, .333 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 1-1, .500 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 4-2, .667 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 4-2, .667 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 4-4, .500 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 6-4, .600 PCT | | Record in April | 8-6, .571 PCT |
