Meadows totaled 40 hits, 28 walks, 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and 29 runs scored last month to put together a .385 batting average and .511 on-base percentage.
|  | Friday, April 29th, 1988: Dazzlers Snap Raines's Streak at 25 Bugs left fielder Tim Raines went 0-for-4 today in Barnes Lake-Millers Lake's 4-3 triumph over the Montrose Dazzlers, snapping his 25-game hitting streak.
Raines spoke to BNN after the game and said, "I knew the hitting streak would end sooner or later. I just would have preferred later."
When he made an out in his last chance at bat, his teammates congratulated him in the dugout.
The Dazzlers manager shrugged off the streak. "There's nothing scientific about it, that's for sure," he said. "He had a nice little run. Let him start another one when we finish the series here."
